History
El juego del garrote is one of the names given to the system of fencing clubs Venezuela . This name is on the town of El Tocuyo , located in the southwest of Lara state , the starting point of colonization by the Spanish in what is now known as Venezuela. Also called the game club , set of clubs , fencing timber . It is a practiced art of mourning in Venezuela since time immemorial. Its origins are closely linked to the Spanish fencing , with some influences from other cultures found in that country, especially the Canary Islands, Black Africa and some native Indian.

Style
